Demo what you've built. Get feedback before moving on.

"Does this look right? Can I proceed?" Don't assume.

Keep a log of all decisions. Helps if there are disputes later.

"That's not in scope. Happy to do it for $X. Want to proceed?"

Loom or Zoom recording of final product. Serves as documentation.

How to use it, where things live, any gotchas. Make them self-sufficient.

Give them everything. No hostage-holding. Clean handoff.

Invoice promptly. Net-30 is standard unless agreed otherwise.

"Would you mind sharing a few words about working together?" Easy ask.

Quick follow-up after a month. Shows you care. Often leads to more work.
