How to Manage Links

Links is a bookmarking feature that lets you save, organize, and quickly access web resources. This guide covers adding, editing, filtering, and deleting links.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • You must be signed in to your account

From the sidebar, click Links to view your saved links.

Click the Add Link button in the top right corner to open the add dialog.

Fill in the link information:

FieldRequiredDescription
URLYesThe web address to save
TitleNoDisplay name (defaults to URL if empty)
DescriptionNoNotes about the link (max 2000 characters)
TagsNoCategories for organization

Click Add Link to save. The link appears in your list immediately.

Organizing with Tags

Tags help you categorize and filter links.

  1. In the add dialog, click the Tags section
  2. Select existing tags or create new ones
  3. You can add up to 20 tags per link
  1. Click the menu icon on any link
  2. Select Edit
  3. Modify the tags in the tag selector
  4. Click Update Link to save

Tag Best Practices

  • Use consistent naming (e.g., "reference", "tutorial", "tool")
  • Tags are shared across your team for consistent vocabulary
  • Frequently used tags appear first in the selector

View Modes

Switch between two display modes using the view toggle:

ModeDescription
ListCompact rows showing title, domain, and tags
GridCards with preview images (when available)

Your preference is saved between sessions.

Use the search bar to find links by:

  • Title text
  • Description text

The search is case-insensitive and updates results as you type.

Filtering by Tags

  1. Click the tag filter dropdown
  2. Select one or more tags
  3. Only links with ALL selected tags appear (AND logic)
  4. Clear filters by clicking the X or selecting "All Tags"

Sorting Options

Sort your links by:

SortDescription
NewestMost recently added first (default)
OldestOldest links first
TitleAlphabetical by title

Step 1: Open Edit Dialog

Click the menu icon (three dots) on any link, then select Edit.

Step 2: Modify Details

You can edit:

  • Title - Update the display name
  • Description - Add or modify notes
  • Tags - Change categorization

Note: The URL cannot be changed after creation. To change a URL, delete the link and create a new one.

Step 3: Save Changes

Click Update Link to save your changes.

Step 1: Open Delete Confirmation

Click the menu icon on any link, then select Delete.

Step 2: Confirm Deletion

Review the confirmation dialog showing the link title, then click Delete.

Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Working with External URLs

Click on any link title or the external link icon to open the URL in a new browser tab.

Links automatically display:

  • Favicon - The site's icon (when available)
  • Domain - The source website
  • Preview image - OpenGraph image (in grid view)
  • Site name - Publisher name (when available)

Plan Limits

Link storage depends on your subscription:

PlanLink Limit
Free50 links
Plus500 links
Pro2,500 links
Lifetime2,500 links

When you reach your limit, you'll see an upgrade prompt. Delete unused links or upgrade your plan to continue adding.

Links can also be associated with specific projects:

  1. Open a project from the sidebar
  2. Navigate to the project's Links tab
  3. Add links that are specific to that project

Project links appear in both the project view and your main Links page.

Troubleshooting

"Rate limit exceeded" error

You can create 30 links per hour. Wait before adding more.

  • Search only matches title and description text
  • Check if filters are limiting results
  • Clear all filters and try again

Preview image not showing

Not all websites provide OpenGraph images. The link is still saved correctly; only the preview is missing.

Tags not appearing

  • Tags are team-scoped; ensure you're in the correct team
  • New tags may need a page refresh to appear in filters

Best Practices

  1. Add descriptive titles - Make links easy to find later
  2. Use descriptions - Add context about why you saved the link
  3. Tag consistently - Build a useful categorization system
  4. Review periodically - Remove outdated or broken links
  5. Use search and filters - Find links quickly instead of scrolling
